Many regions in Germany are characterised by a unique economic structure. In Berlin, not least due to the structural changes of recent decades, dynamic entrepreneurship and a vibrabt start-up-environment have developed. Technology parks, cultural and educational institutions, companies in the creative, information and communication industries and many more are of great economic importance and contribute significantly, along with established companies and state actors, to the city’s economic performance.
