Dr Maria Polugodina
Dr Maria Polugodina is consultant at DIW Econ. Methodologically, she focuses on economic modelling and application of quantitative methods in economic research. Ms. Polugodina has extensive experience working in international research and consulting teams on a broad set of economic topics. In particular, she has worked on projects in international and comparative economics, digitalisation, sustainable development, climate change issues, and data-based pricing.
Before joining DIW Econ, Maria Polugodina worked as research fellow at the Institute for East European Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, where she also completed her doctorate in economics. She also studied economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Higher School of Economics (Moscow).
