Prof. Sevrin Waights, Ph.D.

Prof. Sevrin Waights, PhD is a senior consultant at DIW Econ and a guest professor of applied microeconomics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. He has a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and more than ten years of experience in scientific research and economic consulting. He is an expert in applied econometrics and has published in some of the world’s leading economics journals on topics such as housing, education, and labour market inequality. Before joining DIW Econ, Prof. Waights worked at DIW Berlin, the LSE’s What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth, and Cambridge Econometrics.
