Liliana Cuccu, Ph.D.

Liliana Cuccu is consultant at DIW Econ. Her academic background in applied economics and professional experiences provided her with a sound knowledge of quantitative methods as well as their applications to real-world economic problems. Throughout her career, she had the opportunity to analyse data from diverse topics including competition economics disputes, regional taxes, labour market issues, drivers of negative attitudes towards automated vehicles, and intergenerational mobility dynamics. Before joining DIW Econ, she gained experience both in research contexts, such as the EU Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC), and private economic consultancies, like E.CA Economics. Liliana Cuccu holds a PhD in Economics with a focus on labour economics and political economy from the University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim.
