Clemens Paulsen
Clemens Paulsen is a consultant at DIW Econ. In this role, he primarily focuses on the economic spillover effects of research institutions, companies, and industries.
He has led several large-scale research projects. His methodological focus is on input-output modelling and data analysis using statistical and econometric methods.
He received his degrees in Economics from the University of Leipzig and in Development Economics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne as part of a double master’s programme. He specialised in applied econometrics, financial policy and development economics. He previously worked in the shipping industry, earning his bachelor’s degree as part of a dual study programme with the company Hapag-Lloyd.
