DIW Econ is the consulting company of the German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin (DIW Berlin). We support and advise national and international clients from politics and business on economic issues based on applied economic research.

•  Development of ideas to solve customer problems with the involvement of internal and external experts
• Writing reports, expert opinions and presentations in a logical and well-structured manner and in a language appropriate to the target audience
• Practical application of theoretical concepts, descriptive analysis of data up to econometric analyses
• Presentation and discussion of your results with colleagues and clients

•  Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, business administration or a related field
• Strong interest and understanding of micro and/or macroeconomic issues
• Good knowledge of statistics, econometrics and data analysis and basic knowledge of statistical software (R, Stata)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• High degree of willingness to communicate, flexibility, as well as independent, structured and conscientious work
• Very good written and spoken German and English
