Mats Marquardt

Mats Marquardt is a Consultant at DIW Econ. In this role, he focuses on macroeconomic impact analysis and the economic assessment of transformation processes in the context of climate and energy policy.

Mats has more than eight years of experience in economic modelling and policy advisory. His methodological focus lies on input-output modelling as well as the development and application of partial equilibrium models.

Mats Marquardt holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Göttingen, with a focus on applied econometrics, sustainable development, and economic policy analysis. Prior to this, he worked at NewClimate Institute.
