Senior Economist Position
with a focus on applied modeling of economic policies at the sector-specific as well as economy-wide level. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D in economics and several years of relevant experience in applied economic analysis, including energy and climate policies. Successful applicants will have profound skills and experiences in CGE modeling using software packages like GAMS or Gempack.
Fluency in English is required and the ability to work in teams is mandatory. Some knowledge of German would be an advantage.
A work permit for Germany is required.
The position is full-time for initially two years and with a possible permanent extension afterwards. Salary is competitive and consists of fixed and variable components. The start for this position should be as soon as possible.
