Is Senior Research Associate at DIW Econ, Assistant Professor for Economics, in particular Economics of Education at Leibniz University Hannover and Research Associate at Socio-Economic Panel Study (SOEP) at DIW Berlin. Currently he is also Guest Professor for Applied Microeconomics at Humboldt University Berlin. Daniel Schnitzlein is specialist in economics of education, labor economics, and population economics. Previous stations in his career had been at the University Hamburg, the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg, DIW Berlin, and the Institute for Employment Research in Nuremberg. Prof. Schnitzlein graduated from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg, where he also obtained his PhD in economics.
