Kathrin Waltner
Kathrin Waltner is an analyst at DIW Econ. Her methodological focus is on data analysis using statistical and econometric methods, as well as the microeconomic policy analysis. At DIW Econ she mainly works on input-output modelling and the analysis of economic spillovers of firms and industries. Kathrin Waltner completed a double degree programme, obtaining a Master’s degree in European Economics from the University of Tübingen and a Master’s degree in Economic Policy Analysis from the University of Aix-Marseille. Her focus was on the implementation of policy instruments, particularly in the area of environment and resources, and the impact of such instruments on innovation. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University München.
