Johanna Neuhoff is a consultant at DIW Econ. Her methodological work focuses on the application of both quantitative and qualitative methods of social research. These include the econometric analysis of complex data sets, panel data and time series analysis, evaluations and impact assessments using multi-method approaches, index design, market analyses and forecasts, survey design and implementation as well as qualitative surveys, interviews and workshops). Thematically, Ms Neuhoff is broadly based and has already implemented numerous projects in a wide range of topics and industries. She is, among other things, an expert in the real estate and construction industry, regional economics, sustainable development, transport and infrastructure, research and innovation, energy efficiency and climate policy. Prior to joining DIW Econ, Johanna Neuhoff was for many years project manager at empirica ag and lead economist at GESI Gesellschaft für Systeminnovation. Ms Neuhoff holds a degree in economics from the University of Potsdam and an additional master’s degree in economics from the University of Milwaukee.
