Dr Alexandra Fedorets
Dr Alexandra Fedorets is a Senior Research Associate at DIW Econ and research associate at DIW Berlin in the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) department. Her primary field of research is empirical labour market research with a particular focus on work content, wage formation and digitisation. As a minimum wage expert, she was involved in various research projects of the German Minimum Wage Commission and the Leibniz Association, wrote several reports and research articles on the effects of the minimum wage reform and cooperates with the Low Pay Commission in Great Britain. Her work has appeared in various international journals: Labour Economics, Regional Studies, German Economic Review, Public Finance Analysis, Journal for Labour Market Research.
Alexandra Fedorets studied economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Moscow State Lomonossow University. She received her doctorate in economics (Dr rer pol) within the framework of the Berlin Doctoral Program in Economics and Management Science at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
